I feel privileged to be in front of you today. This is my first post for Canadian Vapor Magazine so let me start by saying I’m a firm believer in personal freedom. In fact, I’d put that top of the list of things I hold most near and dear. It’s likely what I relate to most about vapers, you’re freedom seeking individuals, too! Hey, someone’s got to do it!

I’m not going into some diatribe about 2020. I prefer to let it slide away and and keep the important parts. That’s what will matter down the road. The big question becomes, “did I keep my light on and stay standing?” Don’t let anybody or anything extinguish your light or rob you of your bedrock, that solid base that you know as truth. I’m certainly not going to. Take vaping. It breaks my heart that such a beautiful solution to a deadly problem is under attack. The blood, sweat and tears of independent vape professionals to deliver a quick, safe and easy way to get and keep people off cigarettes is being swept away by bureaucrats with questionable ability to make such judgments.

That’s why 2021 is the year we stick together. Remember, they may deem you illegal, but you’re not immoral. Sincerely helping others is never immoral. The 70+ year longevity of the illegal cannabis industry shows us that. And we, too, will never go away!

And we’ll do everything in our power to make sure THIS is not a future we ever see repeat itself
